Blackwood Estates was build in the County of kern, California as a private gated community. The overall land area was 19.93 Acres. Dan Scales developed this land into 26 residentail lots most of which were a little 1/2 acre.

The subdivision was built with underground utilities being services by; Cal Water, Brighthouse cable, PG&E power, Southern California Gas, NORSD sewer, and AT&T phone.

Dan Scales developed the CC&R’s, create the design/architecture and landscaping requirements for each lot, subdivision landscaping, monument sign designs, and negotiated all service and county maintenance contracts & permits.

Dan was the acting site Superintendent & Project Manager for all construction activities & contracts, schedules, inspections, payments, and contract closeouts & warrantees.

Dan also sold $2,040,000,00 in lots which were only 7 of the 26 total lots within subdivision.
